We didn't want another old-school lemon drink packed to the rafters with sugar. We're tired of that nonsense. Instead we committed to real juices, no artificial sweeteners, natural flavours and no preservatives. No BS. Just a proper beer-alt coming in at 4%.
The problem (again):
The heritage brands either drown your palate with too much sugar or have that strange synthetic taste you get from artificial sweeteners. Neither is any good. We wanted to craft something sessionable you can actually drink more than one of.
The solution:
Real juices. From actual lemons. Pulped and packed straight into the drinks for a bit of extra oomph.
Natural flavours and colours - nothing neon here.
No artificial sweeteners. Our lemonade isn't too sweet - we hate that furry teeth feeling you get from sugar-laden drinks. We just call on a little bit of monk fruit and fructose for balance.
No preservatives. Smart recipes and pasteurisation delivers serious flavour without nasties.
ABV of 4%. Sessionable, but with a backbone.
Where this sits on the shelf (and in your hand):
Think of our cloudy lemonade as the grown-up middleweight of the grog aisle. It's lighter than your average lager or cider or wine. Way gentler than the sugar-packed alcopops. But not as featherweight as the watery seltzers you can get. It's a full-flavour 4% abv that you reach for when you don't fancy the usual.
Designed to be sessionable, refreshing enough to drink more than one, and interesting enough you'll remember it.
Serve:
Pint not thimble. Our cloudy lemonade sings its best song when poured into a pint glass. Why? The tall glass shows off the cloudy body, let's the soft sparkle do its thing and allows enough room for the garnish.
Serve over a few cubes of ice and lemon wedge. The fizz is a gentle lift, not a punch to the throat.
